Highlights from the Engagement Committee

Thank you to everyone who joined our first Fellowship Engagement Committee meeting in November. We’re grateful for the thoughtful conversation and the interest in strengthening connection, learning, and support across the Fellowship.

Committee members Kate Kalstein and Kent Sprinkle shared an overview of the Engagement Committee’s purpose, recent Board efforts to expand engagement opportunities, and priorities for the year ahead. The group affirmed support for:

• Establishing a clearer understanding what Fellows want from the Fellowship (e.g., speakers, mentoring, regional gatherings, and new ideas)
• Improving insight into where Fellows live and work to support more targeted engagement
• Developing a clear menu of ways Fellows can participate and contribute beyond Selection Day events

The next Engagement Committee meeting is January 27, 2026. To accommodate different schedules, we’re offering two options:

• 2:00 p.m. EST
• 7:00 p.m. EST
