Marc Litt
Marc Litt is an experienced litigator who represents corporations and individuals that are the subjects of investigation by prosecutors and regulators; conducts domestic and international internal investigations; advises on best practices to promote compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations; and litigates on behalf of parties in commercial disputes.
Previously, Marc served for eight years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in both the Southern District of New York, where he investigated and prosecuted complex securities fraud, including the investigation and prosecution of Bernard L. Madoff, as a member of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force.
Marc has served as the lead or co-lead counsel in more than 50 trials, including 12 jury trials, and has briefed and argued numerous appeals before the Second Circuit, the D.C. Circuit, and the D.C. Court of Appeals.
