Kirk Coleman
Kirk Coleman is a licensed attorney and currently works as an executive legal search consultant at Major, Lindsey & Africa. Kirk is a Teach for America alumnus, and he was a public-school teacher in Prince George’s County, Maryland before attending law school. Kirk is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York and is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Washington Bar Association (the oldest and largest voluntary bar association comprised primarily of Black attorneys and judges in metropolitan Washington, DC). He is also a member of the Washington Bar Association. Kirk received his B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, where he served as the Executive Director of the bridges Multicultural Resource Center and as the Executive Director of the Black Recruitment and Retention Center. Kirk was also a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow at Princeton University. Kirk received his Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, Tony Patino Fellow, and President of the Black Law Students Association.
