Jason Kaune

While a fellow at UC Hastings Jason concurrently earned a master in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.  He heads the political law section at Nielsen Merksamer, a California-based firm with national practices in government ethics, campaign finance, lobbying and election law.   He chairs the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Election Law and teaches a course on “Political Ethics and Issues for Organizations” at the Yale School of Management.  He served for eight years as an elected member of his local school board.  He welcomes contact by any current or past fellows.
