Douglas Brosnan

Douglas Brosnan, MD, JD, is Director of Provider Relations for CEP America. He completed his Bachelor of Science in physiology at the University of California-Los Angeles. In 2003, he received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco, and in 2005 he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Irvine, where he also completed his residency in the Department of Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Brosnan currently serves as an editor for the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine where he formerly served as the journal’s legislative analyst. He is the former Chief of Staff at Sutter Roseville Medical Center and is the CMA Representative to the Medical Executive Committee at Sutter Roseville.  Dr. Brosnan is active in organized medicine – he is past president of the Placer-Nevada County Medical Association, a former member of the Board of Trustees of the California Medical Association and is the physician representative on the Covered California Plan Management Advisory Committee.
