In trial courts, federal courts of appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court, Daniel has served clients faced with administrative, antitrust, appellate, business tort, civil rights, contract, criminal, employment, environmental, immigration, insurance, intellectual property, post-conviction, privacy, professional responsibility, real estate, securities, and trade secret disputes.

A compelling communicator, Daniel is a Moth StorySLAM winner, Mulroy excellence in appellate advocacy and oral argument prize winner, and Hinton Moot Court champion.

For his service and leadership, Daniel has been named a Tony Patiño Fellow and “Chicago Scholars 35 Under 35 Young Leaders Making an Impact” award winner.

Before joining Sidley, Daniel clerked for The Honorable David S. Tatel of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, worked for another Chicago-based law firm, chaired the Chicago Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, and served as the director of government relations for a global education company.
