Jessie M Beckett-McWalter

I serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary of Arconic Corporation.  In this role, I oversee all areas of legal, ethics and compliance handled by the members of our legal team, as well as provide advice and counsel to Arconic’s executive leadership team.

Prior to joining Arconic, I held a number of senior legal roles including serving as Vice President and Senior Counsel of Evoqua Water Technologies LLC in Pittsburgh, where I served as legal counsel to its Integrated Solutions & Services segment and the company’s executive leadership team on strategic domestic and international legal matters.  Prior to Evoqua, I was General Counsel & Vice President of Human Resources of Chemimage Corporation in Pittsburgh.  I also practiced law at two law firms located in California before moving to Pittsburgh in 2007 and joining Pepper Hamilton LLP as an associate in its Commercial Litigation Practice.

Throughout my career, I have gained experience handling a wide variety of legal matters, including complex commercial litigation, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, strategic partnerships, antitrust matters, international distribution arrangements, construction contracting projects and disputes, environmental, trade and other compliance matters, intellectual property, as well as labor and employment law matters. I’ve also served on the board of the Women’s Law Project for a number of years and taught Alternative Dispute Resolution courses as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh Law School.
